Personally I always enjoyed the fact that he gave Vic such a hard time. Vic is a big teaser as most of you know. Still to this day when he tells a story I can't tell what of it is truth and what of it he has totally thrown in. Well, Ed always gave Vic a hard time. I always enjoyed watching them together.
My favorite "Ed moment" though would have to be when he painted Carol's porch pink. I'll never forget that he had helped Vic and Bo redo Carol's porch. Well, one day I pull up and crack up because he is painting her porch pink. (For those of you that don't know, Ed was color blind.) I asked him, "Ed, why are you painting the porch pink?" He looked at me like I was crazy and says, "It's not pink. See, right here on the bucket it says, white paint." I laughed and told him I didn't care what the bucket said, that was pink paint. We argued (laughing of course) about it for a little bit and he finally went inside to get Carol for her opinion. She comes out and looks around and sheepishly tells him that it was in fact pink. It was so funny! We had a good laugh that day. :-)
We will miss Ed! He was trully a wonderful man!
