Water Slide

In a hill by Roaring River someone built a water slide in the side of the hill. While the guys were fishing I took Tori and Aubrey. (Megan had decided not to go to Branson because she wanted to stay with the Strathes.) The girls thought the slide was awesome!

We didn't get to stay at the slide as long as we had wanted though because Tori had an admirer! This boy would follow them up the hill EVERY time! I even called them out of line to talk to me to try and give them a break, but the boy let the other people go in front of him on the slide until the girls got back up there. LOL I was sitting there laughing! It was just too funny. Tori would wait in the pool part at the end and he would wait at the pool part until she got out. She and Aubrey would RUN up the hill and pass people and he would run around people too. (He wasn't really in the shape to be keeping up with them either.) It was just too funny and a memory that the girls and I will laugh about for years to come. :-)

Roaring River

On Sunday morning we left Branson and drove over to Roaring River so that the guys could do some trout fishing.

Outlook

We went to the outlook while in Branson. Wow! What a view. You can see Arkansas from the top.

Vic does the ejection seat again...

We went to Branson again for another little weekend getaway before school started. Of course Vic had to do the Ejection Seat while we were there again. Tori was going to go with him, but she backed out as Vic was strapping himself in. (She did do the Rip Cord though.) Anyway, they told Vic that he would probably go 40 feet higher going by himself. In watching him I believe that he did! He really shot up there.

Megan turns 7!!!

When Megan was born we finished hosting a state baseball tourney on Tues and she was born on Friday. She turned 1 in North Dakota at a baseball tournament...Since then most of her birthdays have been spent at the ballpark. Well, this year it was spent at the ballpark, only she was the one playing! Her team got 2nd place. She had some good little hits!
